SP Schools and Teachers
Supported Progression has gone national!
This year we will be expanding SP and welcoming applications from students all across the UK!
Schools and colleges play a key role in identifying students who have the potential to study at a university like Durham and who will meet the SP criteria. The Supported Progression team rely very heavily on the support of teachers/advisors and we would like to thank you in advance for your support. We have created a Teacher Guide to inform you about all the ins and outs of the SP programme, to help support you in identifying eligible students and to ensure you are fully equipt to publicise the programme.
Levelling Up: Aspire Higher
If you have any students in Year 12 who are considering applying to study Chemistry, Maths or Physics at university they may also be eligible for the Levelling Up: Aspire Higher programme, alongside Supported Progression. The programme is a free two year academic and pastoral support programme, which includes:
- Academic tuition, mentoring and support;
- Preparation for University;
- Guest lectures from world leading academics;
- Being part of the academic community;
- Guaranteed University offer (conditions apply).
Applications open in the next couple of weeks
