Hogan Lovells Scholarships

The University gratefully acknowledges the generous gift bestowed by Hogan Lovells International LLP. The Hogan Lovells Scholarship assists one or more undergraduate student(s) embarking on the LLB Law or Law with Foundation LLB programme who meet the essential eligibility criteria associated with this scholarship. One or more new scholarships are offered per academic year, awarding the scholar(s) with up to £8,000 of financial support for the first years of their academic studies on their Law programme. The exact amount of the financial award made to each scholar will be dependent upon the scholar’s financial circumstances, including support they receive from other sources.

Hogan Lovells have given the following information about this scholarship:

At Hogan Lovells we believe that access to the legal profession must be open and fair and we aim to break down barriers that may deter talented individuals. We are mindful that not everyone has the benefit of the financial resources that make studying accessible to them. With our scholarships we hope to help overcome that barrier and enable our scholars to enjoy their studies and achieve their goals without the stress of worrying about funding. The scholarship scheme does not stop with the funding. Our scholars can use Hogan Lovells contacts to find out more about commercial law, help them navigate the recruitment process and give them greater insights into the opportunities available following their studies.
