COLFUTURO Scholarship 

COLFUTURO awards take the form of a scholarship loan of up to US$50,000. Students may be awarded COLFUTURO scholarships for 80% of the loaned amount, provided they accomplish certain requirements. Durham University is pleased to offer a full tuition fee scholarship for one COLFUTURO beneficiary accepted onto a Taught Postgraduate programme (apart from MBA).

All other students (Postgraduate Taught and Research) in receipt of COLFUTURO funding will receive a 20% discount on their tuition fee for the duration of their programme. The candidate for the full tuition fee waiver will be selected by Durham University after the results of the Colfuturo call are announced in June 2024.

Geographical Criteria - Colombian nationals.

How to apply

  1. Complete your Durham University application

    Review your options for your preferred programme and apply via our Postgraduate Applicant Portal here. You can also apply for a programme after your COLFUTURO application, but it is strongly advised to apply to the University as soon as possible.

  2. Complete a COLFUTURO scholarship application

    For more details and how to apply, visit the COLFUTURO website, or contact COLFUTURO. Please note you can only apply for COLFUTURO support during their call. Applications open 9th January 2024 and close February 29 at 11:59 p.m. (Colombia time).

     

    There is no separate application for the University's COLFUTURO scholarships, all eligible Colombian offer holders will be considered.
