Biography
Ray Chen is a PhD student in the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Durham University. She completed a Master’s degree in Sport Science, specializing in physical activity and public health, and a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Therapy, both awarded in China.

Research
Ray’s research focuses on physical activity interventions to improve executive function in early childhood. She is particularly interested in addressing developmental inequalities by adapting evidence-based interventions to under-resourced settings. Her project combines a scoping review with mixed-methods feasibility and adaptation studies, aiming to inform the culturally appropriate implementation of physical activity programs in Chinese preschools.
