Helena Jones


Biography

Helena is a PhD student in Durham Law School. Her research explores the correlation between historic social and legal constructions of womanhood, how these constructions manifest themselves in the modern era and their potential to facilitate structural and personal harm against women in society and the law. 

Helena is also acting as a Research Assistant within the Department of Sport and Exercise Science, in collaboration with Durham Law School and Disability Rights UK. 

Prior to her PhD, Helena completed an LLB at The Open University with distinction.
