Research Postgraduate in the Department of Psychology

I am a PhD student researching the development of empathy and associated socioemotional processes in infants during their first two years of life.

My project combines observational methods with behavioural experiments and psychophysiological measures, such as eye tracking and thermal imaging. I am conducting this research in Uganda and the UK, to expand current perspectives on infant empathy to typically underrepresented, non-Western populations and to study how variation in sociocultural contexts influences its early development.

Previously, I completed a BSc in Psychology with Clinical Psychology at the University of Kent, followed by an MSc in Early Childhood Research at Leipzig University.
