Durham University

St Cuthbert's Society

If you are a current undergraduate and have chosen to undertake postgraduate study within the University, choosing a college may be very straightforward. In most cases, students tend to stay in their own college.

However, if you are new to the University, choosing a college can be a difficult task. You need to consider what you are looking for in terms of accommodation, learning resources, community and support.

St Cuthbert's can offer you self catered/en-suite facilities with the option of buying a 10 meals package and/or "pay as you go". We provide you with a team of staff who can help you if you are having any difficulties which may affect your academic studies.

At Cuth's, rather than membership of a separate Middle Common Room, postgraduates can become members of the Junior Common Room which has its own Postgraduate Committee.

Potential postgraduates wishing to become a member of St Cuthbert's Society should note this on their application to become a student.
