Open Days are an important part of deciding which university is the best for you. Durham is a collegiate university which means that colleges are at the heart of the student experience and provide you with the "added value" to your Durham degree. The University, in conjunction with departments and the colleges, organise two Open Days: Post Application (for those who have an offer from the University) and Pre-Application (for those who are considering applying to the University).
If you need to talk to someone in the college about Open Days, please contact the Programme Co-ordinator, Mrs Ann Peart in the first instance via firstname.lastname@example.org or 0191 3343400.
"Being a member of St. Cuthbert’s Society has been one of the best things about Durham University during my years here. As an international student I have always felt very welcome and included by our friendly and supportive community. During my time here I have been an active member of Cuth’s highly successful boat club, have sat on the JCR Finance Committee and worked behind Cuth's Bar (which in my opinion is the best of any college!). Even if your interests are different to these, there is still plenty more to choose from. Everyone gets involved in Cuth’s in some way or another - making the University experience a truly special one."
