Get involved

“There's not really a 'typical Aidan's student' which means that there is a fantastic mix of people here. You can widen your horizons and meet lots of new people. With such a large mix of people it gives you the chance to try your hand at pretty much anything and ensure that somebody else will share your interest.”

James Dickie

We encourage all our students to make the most of University life and achieve their potential both academically and in developing life skills by getting involved in College life.

One of the attractions of college life is the fantastic opportunity to get involved in a diverse range of activities from  sports teams to societies to charity and community work! What you can get involved in depends on your aspirations, imagination and sympathies: But whatever your interests, you are certain to meet like-minded friends. The following pages outline just a few of the ways in which you can get involved.

“I've grown-up immensely by taking on positions of responsibility, such as setting up our termly Jazz Rock and Cocktails, and the experiences I've gained in roles like this will no doubt prove invaluable in later life. ”

David Morris, BA History
