Postgraduate Funding Opportunities

Available via our NERC-funded IAPETUS2 Doctoral Training Partnership, these studentships are open to Home/EU students in across the environmental sciences, encompassing Archaeology, Biological Anthropology and Physical Geography.

The Postgraduate Publication Bursary Scheme offers bursaries of up to £1756 to support Durham University registered doctoral (PhD, EdD, DBA) or Masters by Research students funding to support preparation of a minimum of one paper for publication in an international, peer-reviewed research journal. The student will be the first author of the paper and one or more Durham University current employees are second and subsequent authors.

This paper must directly arise from a PhD, EdD, DBA or Masters by Research thesis.
