Creative Outputs

We have a long history of working with creative practitioners including writers, artists, musicians, performers and others to explore the way that the arts can help illuminate human experiences which might otherwise be hidden. 

This list includes some of the highlights from our creative projects. 

Black Lung

IMH and New Writing North are delighted to mark the 2024 research cabaret with the publication of this short story.

Research Cabaret

Funded by the Being Human Festival, ‘Landmarking’ brought together researchers and performers from the Institute and the local area.

In Memoriam

In Memoriam was a touring artwork by Luke Jerram. The installation was a temporary memorial for the public to visit and remember those lost from the COVID-19 pandemic.
