IMH announces a landmark volume for critical neurodiversity studies
We are delighted to share the publication of a new volume of essays exploring the question: What would a neurodivergent critical framework for literary studies look like?
Edited by IMH’s Louise Creechan, Anna Stenning (University of Leeds) and Jenny Bergenmar (University of Gothenburg), the collection is the result of a workshop supported by the Institute for Medical Humanities in April 2022.
Thirteen essays introduce ‘a new, more inclusive field of scholarship for literary and cultural studies’, bringing together scholars and writers from across Europe to explore ‘the revolutionary potential of neurodivergent scholarly practice’ and demonstrate that ‘there is no such thing as a ‘normal’ response to cultural production.
Huge congratulations to the co-editors and contributors!
