Funding

Funded PhD studentships for 2019 entry

We are very pleased to announce our next round of applications for funded PhD studentships to start in October 2019, including opportunities for 1+3 (Masters + PhD) funding. We are looking for students with a strong academic track record who wish to study for a PhD in the Durham Psychology Department.

The Psychology department is offering fully-funded PhDs via these schemes:

  • Durham Doctoral Studentships (DDS) – deadline Jan 16th 2019
  • Departmental Studentships – deadline Jan 16th 2019
  • Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) scholarships – deadlines and details tbc by Science Faculty

In addition, the Psychology department puts forward applications to

  • The ESRC NINE DTP (includes 1+3 funding, Masters+PhD) – deadline Jan 18th 2019
