PhD Candidate Douglas Bachorik conducts major performance in the Philippines

The performance of Handel’s Messiah involved musicians from Baptist churches all across the Philippines. It took place at the Meralco Theater, one of the major concert venues in Manila.

Douglas Bachorik is the director of music activities at Bob Jones Memorial Bible College (Quezon City, Philippines), where he founded the music department. He is currently researching music-induced emotion in choirs and in congregational singing under the supervision of Prof Bennett Zon and Professor John Barclay of the Department of Theology and Religion.
