Lecture: Bill Thompson (IAS Fellow) 'Music, Health and Wellbeing'

Bill Thompson is Professor in Psychology at Macquarie University. He conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersections between music, language, emotion, and cognition. His current research is focused on understanding the role of music for atypical and outlier communities, including individuals with neurological impairment, fans of alternative and violent music, and diaspora populations.

His talk entitled 'Music, Health and Wellbeing' will take place 7 November at 5:30 pm at Birley Room, Hatfield College.
