Durham KLANG17: E7B SoundLab Presents | Strong Currents

7th June 2017, 19:00, Concert Room, Music Department

Dov Goldberg (clarinet), John Snijders (piano), Emma Richards (viola).

A tour-de-force concert from three of the very best performers in the North-East, with works by DurhamUniversity staff and postgraduate students. The pieces combine to form an eclectic tapestry of expressions; from Dr. Eric Egan’s piece based on bomb craters in North Korea, to Jonathan Packham’s, performed in a tent.

KLANG is Durham’s own Contemporary Art Music Festival, run by staff and students at Durham University Music Department. Our aim is to present some of the world’s most exciting new music from composers and musicians based in the North-East and beyond.

All concerts in KLANG are free of charge and will take place in the Concert Room of the Music Department, on Palace Green.
