Northern Bridge Palaeography Summer School

Following last year's success, the Northern Bridge Doctoral Training Partnership, in conjunction with IMEMS, are pleased to be running another Latin Palaeography Summer School; from the 9th-20th July 2018, aimed at Postgraduate Research Students.

The Summer School will be taught in the heart of Durham's UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a two-week intensive course, taught by Alessia Berardi, University of Toronto. Daily classes run from 10 am - 1 pm and will be followed by group work on manuscripts from Durham Cathedral Library and Durham University Special Collections.

FEES

The Summer School is free for applicants from Durham University, Newcastle University and Queen’s University Belfast.

Course fees of £650 apply for external candidates.

ENTRY CRITERIA

Some experience of Latin is necessary; priority will be given to current research students.
