Latin Palaeography Summer School

10th July 2017, 10:00, Palace Green 28, Jason Brown

Following last year's success, the Northern Bridge Doctoral Training Partnership, in conjunction with IMEMS, are pleased to be running for a second year a Latin Palaeography Summer School in July 2017, aimed at Postdoctoral Research Students.

The Summer School will be taught at the heart of Durham's UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a two-week intensive course, taught by Jason Brown, University of Toronto. Daily classes 10 am - 1 pm will be followed by group work on manuscripts from Durham Cathedral Library and Durham University Special Collections.

The Summer School is free for applicants from Durham University, Newcastle University and Queen’s University Belfast.

Course fees apply for external candidates. Some experience of Latin and/or Palaeography is necessary; priority will be given to current research students.
