IMEMS has a long-standing relationship with Blackfriars Restaurant in Newcastle and we are pleased to anounce our 5th public lecture, to be followed by a 3-course lunch. 

Professor Andrew Jotischky, Head of History at Lancaster University and an expert in medieval monasticism, will discuss his book A Hermit's Cookbook: Monks, Food and Fasting in the Middle Ages
