Second Interdisciplinary Colloquium on Medieval and Early Modern Studies
Each session (comprising two or three discussions of individual papers) will be moderated by a member of the university teaching staff or our visiting speaker, who will also give a short paper to round off the academic part of the day. This year we will be joined by Dr Stephen Mossman of the the University of Manchester, whose research interests include German religious literature and the Western understanding of Islam in the late Middle Ages. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided, as well as an evening meal at a local restaurant to help strengthen the inter-departmental connections made during the day. There is no fee to take part beyond a nominal £1.
