Scientific Study of Manuscripts and Inscriptions (SSoMI) 360 Workshop

6th September 2019, 09:00 to 17:00, Palace Green Library Learning Centre

Between April 2019 and June 2019 IMEMS invited a number of colleagues to Durham to apply the techniques in which they are expert to some of the manuscripts held in Durham's Palace Green Library collections. “Team Pigment” from Durham University also worked on the Manuscripts. The results of the different techniques applied will be presented at this workshop and the question "is the whole greater than the sum of the parts; what is the value of a '360'?" will be considered.

Anyone interested in joining, or hearing more about, the Scientific Study of Manuscripts research strand at IMEMS is warmly invited to attend.

Registration is now closed

This 360 workshop is part of the Scientific Study of Manuscripts Summer School, generously funded by the Zeno Karl Schindler Foundation.
