IHRR Small Grant Call 2018/19

(21 November 2018)

At the beginning of each academic year the Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience (IHRR) offers small grants to provide support for any individual, or group of researchers, within the University who have an interest in hazard, risk and/or resilience.

The aim of the small grants scheme is to support research activities linked to IHRR at Durham University. We are keen to support the following activities: pilot studies, growing research capacity, developing research networks, delivering impact and dissemination in the broad fields of hazard, risk and resilience with a preference for interdisciplinary work. The funds can be used to: pump-prime new research; organise workshops or meetings; develop marketing materials; or impact facing work.

The maximum normally awarded to any single proposal will be £2000 and partial funding of proposals is a possibility.

The closing date is 7th December 2018.

Further information and the application form can be found here.
