Human Rights Centre

In the Media

Members of Durham Human Rights Centre frequently engage with public discourse on rights-related matters through both traditional and social or non-traditional media. This reflects the Centre's commitment not only to excellence in research and teaching relating to rights, but also to enriching public debates by means of the provision of expert opinion and the translation of research into policy debate and proposals.

Media Contact

The contact details of individual members of the Centre can be accessed on their individual web pages (members' areas of expertise are indicated here). The Centre itself can be contacted for media commentary or for recommendations of contributors to rights-related debates through either of the co-directors, Dr Alan Greene and Dr Se-shauna Wheatle.
