Regulating Hate Speech: Necessary or Harmful?

On May 13th, Durham HRC and St Cuthbert's Society will cohost a debate on regulating hate speech between Prof. Jeremy Waldron (NYU & Oxford) and Prof. James Weinstein (Arizona State), with Prof. Gavin Phillipson (Durham) and Prof. Ian Cram (Leeds) acting as discussants. The event will be chaired and introduced by Prof. Ian Leigh (Durham Law School) and Prof. Elizabeth Archibald (Principal, St Cuthert's Society).
