Membership of Hatfield
All full-time postgraduate students who have chosen Hatfield must accept their membership prior to the start of their studies. We recommend that you do so at the same time as (or shortly after) accepting your academic offer. In accepting membership of the College, you agree to abide by the College Regulations and pay all College levies and fees as they become due.
If you have any questions about becoming or being a postgraduate member of Hatfield, please contact Dr. Anthony Bash, the Senior Tutor.

The Middle Common Room
All Hatfield postgraduates agree to become members of the Middle Common Room (MCR), the student body that represents all postgraduates in the College. There are two types of membership of the MCR:
EITHER: (for those who are following a full-time programme of study) you will be a Full Member of the MCR;
OR: (for those who are studying part-time or who are distance learners) you will be an Affiliated Member of the MCR. (Affiliated Members may, if they wish, apply to be Full Members). Part-time and distance learners should complete this Records Form to give us their details.
Further information on the benefits of the different types of membership can be found by following the links on the left-hand tabs or by downloading and reading the MCR Handbook below. Please see the section of Fees and Finance for information on membership costs.
