One of the aims of the Hatfield Association is to 'further the education interests' of the College. Discussions with current students, alumni and the Senior Common Room, suggested one method should be translated into action through 'mentoring'. The aim is to give current students the opportunity to discuss with alumni how their careers have developed since they left Hatfield and how they achieved their current positions.
If you are searching for an internship, job or career that is right for you, then ask yourself these questions:
- Do you wonder if your degree (or skills) will equip you for your chosen path or a change in career plan?
- Would you like to talk to someone who is actually doing what you think you might want to do?
- Do you want someone to advise you what makes a winning CV, or how to get ahead of the game?
Have you answered YES to any of the above? Then we will help you make contact with Hatfield Alumni to get some tips or answers to the questions above that could help your decision-making. Simply access the Lions' Network through your DUO account.
Alternatively, if you are interested in volunteering to be one of Hatfield's Lions our Mentoring page has further information and a form for you to complete.
If you have any further questions, please contact Anthony Bash, Senior Tutor.
