In particular the college has:

  • Grey Bar - the bar is one of the social hubs of the College, particularly after formal dinners or during bops (JCR events). It is staffed by students and is a good place to meet with friends or begin a night out; Grey Bar has won Durham's Best Bar None competition three years out of the last four as Durham's best college bar.
  • Fountains Hall – this purpose-built artistic and spiritual centre holds one of the few college-owned theatres as well as a chapel for use by people of all faiths and none. There are also sofas to chill out on and Fountains Hall serves as a display space for some of Grey’s art collection, including works by Fay Pomerance and Grey Fellow Thetis Blacker
  • Grey Library – affectionately known as the Glib is a great place to work and offers respite from the stress of the main university library. There are books and DVDs and if any particular book is required, the College may be able to aquire it for you.
