Durham University Strategy, 2017-2027 aims to deliver education that is challenging, enabling, research-led and transformative, taking advantage of the latest digital technologies, welcoming talented students from all backgrounds and producing critically and socially engaged global citizens and graduates capable of fulfilling their full career potential.

The new Teaching and Learning Centre hosts a wide range of learning environments and technologies. There are lecture theatres, teaching rooms, an education laboratory where new teaching and training methods are being developed, student learning zones and catering facilities.

The Centre will host major academic conferences which will support the wider economic impact the University makes to Durham City, County and North East England. For information about conferencing opportunities, please see here.

The floor plans for the new building, which outline the new spaces and layout for students and staff, are available here: Level 00, Level 01 and Level 02.
