Durham University Strategy, 2017-2027 aims to deliver education that is challenging, enabling, research-led and transformative, taking advantage of the latest digital technologies, welcoming talented students from all backgrounds and producing critically and socially engaged global citizens and graduates capable of fulfilling their full career potential.
The new Teaching and Learning Centre will host a wide range of learning environments and technologies. There will be lecture theatres, teaching rooms, education labs where new teaching and training methods can be developed, student learning zones and catering facilities.
Outside term time the Centre will allow the University to host major academic conferences which will support the wider economic impact the University makes to Durham City, County and North East England.
