PhD Presentation Award for Jack Lee

(28 October 2019)

Jack Lee

Jack Lee has won the PhD presentation award at the Petroleum Geology Student Contest in Calvello, Italy, for his work on “Fracturing and fluid-flow in an exhumed Jurassic basin: An integrated field, microstructural, geochronological and isotopic study of vein mineralisation”. Jack’s abstract was one of the few selected for presentation to a panel of academic and industrial geologists. His work combines field and microstructural observations with geochemical analyses to understand the timing of fracturing and faulting in fine-grained sediments, and the implications for large-scale fluid flow and leakage. Congratulations!
