Schools Outreach

As part of school science week a team of DCBT members ran a series of microscopy workshops with local primary school children.

The pupils viewed their own cheek cells and plant cells under the microscope and learnt about how a microscope works and what's inside the cell including how plants and animals differ.

The pupils also had the opportunity to look at pre-prepared samples of tissues from around the body.
