The Print Before Photography with Antony Griffiths
In this lecture, Britain’s most distinguished historian of print explains what early prints were, how they were made and how they were used.
Trained at Christi Church Oxford and the Courtauld Institute, Antony Griffiths joined the Department of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum in 1976. He was Keeper between 1991 and 2011. His monumental The Print Before Photography appeared in 2016.
