Open Afternoon for New Postgraduate Programmes in Visual Arts and Culture
The Centre for Visual Arts and Culture is hosting an Open Afternoon for all prospective postgraduate students on our two new programmes: the MA in Visual Arts and Culture and the Durham Leverhulme Doctoral Scholarships in Visual Culture, for which 7 full scholarships are on offer for October 2015.
Members of staff involved in delivering these two new programmes will be on hand to talk about the content of these postgraduate programmes, and to provide information on the application process and available funding.
The Open Afternoon will be followed immediately by the official launch of both programmes (with cupcakes and prosecco) and then at 5.30pm, by a public lecture given by Professor Christopher Brown, the newly retired Director of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. His lecture is the first in our new 'Behind the Scenes at the Museum' series, which brings leading museum professionals to Durham. All prospective students are invited to attend both the launch event and Professor Brown's lecture.
