Can I study Psychology? Can I do enough for British Psychological Society accreditation?
Yes. You can take a considerable number of modules in this subject, and, in theory, it could account for up to half of your degree – but if you are interested in specialising in it then you should consider applying for Natural Sciences or single honours Psychology instead. It is possible to do enough Psychology to meet the accreditation requirements of the BPS (British Psychological Society), if you are considering a career in a field relating to Psychology. For BPS accreditation you must take a specified combination of modules forming half of your degree. Note that the pathway which you will need to follow will involve a good deal of mathematical and statistical work for which you must be satisfactorily prepared.
