Student sat studying and smiling on campus

Congratulations on receiving your offer for Grey College and Durham University!

Grey College was founded in 1959 and is one of 17 Colleges of Durham University. We are situated right next to the main Mountjoy Site in a beautiful landscaped setting, and just a short walk from the City Centre. Our students pride themselves on their creativity and community spirit, and fully partake in the wealth of opportunities available to them in the College across sports, music, volunteering and societies.

Colleges are so much more than just a place of residence where you simply live and socialise; they are individual communities that support our students in their academic endeavours, whilst also providing many opportunities to get involved with an incredibly wide range of extra-curricular activities.

At Grey College, our excellent facilities on-site include our library, the bar, recently refurbished and enlarged gym, and Fountains Hall, containing music rooms, chapel and sports hall. We also have an excellent dining hall, as we are a fully-catered college for undergraduate students.
