Terry Hurst

Terry Hurst is a retired Methodist minister who researches the history of Methodism in Newcastle upon Tyne, with particular interest in John Wesley's Orphan House (1743) and Brunswick Methodist Church (1821). Terry is studying part time at Newcastle University for an MLitt in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology, and his area of current research is the development of Wesleyan Methodism 1790 - 1820. He is also Chair of the North East Methodist History Society.
