Richard Huzzey

Richard Huzzey is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History. His research focuses on modern Britain and its empire, with a particular interest in anti-slavery, popular politics, and social movements. With Dr Henry Miller (also at Durham), he is studying petitions to the House of Commons in the long nineteenth century, thanks to the 'Petitions, Parliament, and People in the long nineteenth century' project, generously funded by the Leverhulme Trust.
