Book Launch and Research Conversation

You are cordially invited to a book launch and CNCS research conversation being held on 24 January 2018 in the Pemberton Rooms, Palace Green, Durham, to celebrate the recent publication of Evolution and Victorian Musical Culture (Cambridge University Press, 2017). Celebrations begin with a research conversation on music, science and Victorian culture, followed by a wine reception and book launch.

Speakers include musicologists Bennett Zon (Durham) and David Trippett (Cambridge); historians of science Efram Sera-Shriar (Leeds Trinity) and David Lowther (CNCS Leverhulme post-doctoral fellow); historian of literature and science Roisin Laing (CNCS Leverhulme post-doctoral fellow).
