We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive evening for Durham alumni on Wednesday 26 November, 6.30pm at the RAF Club, London. This special event will bring together alumni, alongside senior University representatives, for an informal gathering.

We are especially honoured to welcome Jonathan Edwards CBE (Van Mildert, 1988) as our guest speaker. Widely regarded as one of Britain’s greatest athletes, Jonathan’s historic triple jump world record remains unbroken more than 30 years on. In his remarks, Jonathan will reflect on his time at Durham, the University’s influence on his career, and the mindset that underpinned both his sporting achievements and subsequent professional success.

The event will be hosted by Mark Aedy (St Hild & St Bede, 1979), member of the University Campaign Board, who looks forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a memorable occasion.

This will be an enjoyable opportunity to reconnect with the University, share experiences, and strengthen connections within Durham’s  alumni network.
