Leave Durham Tidy and get involved with the Green Move Out!

The Green Move Out scheme started out in just one college in 2005, and it has run every year since, growing to include all our colleges, and students living out in the wider community.

Fill your purple bag with unwanted items and leave the bag either in your College bedroom, the College Collection Point or if you're Living Out outside your property.

Move out of your student accommodation responsibly. Sort through your belongings and decide what to keep, store, sell, donate, or recycle. Leave your room and house in good condition.

Please remember to...

• Avoid contaminating the recycling bins, with inappropriate items or food waste.
• Return any unused medication to your local pharmacy.
• Ensure rubbish is always placed in a bin with the lid closed and placed at your normal collection point.
• Be careful when disposing of personal or financial information.
