STEM for Britain Competition

The Department of Engineering is delighted to announce that Anna Weatherburn won first place/gold with her poster titled "Taking Inspiration from Nature: A Novel Material for Wind Turbine Blades" at the esteemed STEM for Britain Competition.

This prestigious achievement highlights the innovative contributions of our PhD students in the field of engineering. Additionally, we extend our congratulations to Lauren Miller and Sophie Draper for their commendable performance as Engineering finalists at the event. Shortlisted from a pool of numerous applicants, their exceptional work was showcased in Parliament, reflecting the caliber of talent within our department.
