Bicycle User Group & Other Cycle Communities

Durham University is keen to promote and encourage cycling to both staff and students. To this effect a Durham Bicycle User Group (DBUG) has been established. If you would like to become a member of the Group or are intersted in any cycling events organised by DBUG or within the surrournding area, details can be found on the DBUG website.

If you want to cycle with others, go on longer rides or further afield, improve your cycling skills or knowledge of bike maintenance why don't you join a local cycling club? Find details of local clubs on the Durham County Council website. Local cycling clubs offer a range of activities whether it's a leisure ride, a competitive race or something for the kids. There's a club for everyone.
