Charlotte Adams wins Energy Champion Award

At the gala ceremony of the 20th Energy Institute (EI) Awards in London last week, Charlotte Adams won the EI’s ’s prestigious Energy Champion Award for her work on geothermal energy.

The EI is a chartered professional membership body bringing global energy expertise together, and the EI Awards is a competition the EI runs for those shaping the world's energy future. Charlotte is Research Manager of Britgeothermal and is one of the leading UK researchers on geothermal energy, with a strong focus on extracting carbon-free heat from waters within abandoned coal mines.
