Adobe Master Agreement

On August 1st 2009 the University of Durham joined the Eduserv/CHEST Agreement, which allows the University to receive the highest level of educational discount available (CLP Level 3) on Adobe software products until February 2019. There are very few Adobe products that are still available as part of this agreement (Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop Elements), as most Adobe software is only available as part of an annual lease agreement called Adobe Creative Cloud. This agreement runs from October 6th each year.

Applications (Apps) can be leased singularly (For example: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver) or as a full Master Cloud package (all available apps are included in the master collection). Staff can purchase an app at any time during the course of the lease by paying a pro-rata price. Starting a lease on October 6th 2016 you would pay for a full twelve months, but if you started the lease after January 6th 2017 you would pay for 9 months. The lease times out on October 5th and you must purchase a new 12 month lease (minimum) each year or your software will stop working.

Colleges and Departments can place orders for Adobe products via CIS using the IT Web Order Form.
CIS orders go through the central Procurement Team who endeavour to secure the best pricing from companies involved.
