Trevelyan College Alumni Weekend 23/24/25 September 2011

We were delighted to welcome alumni of all 'vintages' back to Trevelyan at the end of September.  Blessed by the weather, we enjoyed making new acquaintances and reminiscing about our College experience.

Alumni enjoyed viewing the new Trevelyan video, an informal quiz in the Bar and a College tour, very ably led by JCR Vice-President, Lucy Alliott.  A meeting of the Trevelyan Society was held on Saturday afternoon, lubricated by cream tea.  The highlight of the weekend was the Saturday evening Alumni Dinner where, as well as enjoying excellent food and company, we were treated to a musical entertainment by members of the College and an amusing after dinner speech by the Principal, Martyn Evans.

London Event 2010

Our London event in September 2010 was a huge success, not least because it brought together four former Principals and the present Principal (founding Principal, Miss Joan Bernard 1965-79, Miss Deborah Lavin 1979-1995, Dr George Marshall 1995-96 and Dr Nigel Martin 2000-2008 and Professor Martyn Evans 2008 to date). The event gave alumni the chance to hear the exciting plans for the future of the College together with the opportunity to renew old acquaintances.
