These awards are open to International students across all of the Faculty's Departments and Schools and also Home/EU students in fields not supported by our ESRC Doctoral Training Centre.

Available via our ESRC-funded North East Doctoral Training Centre, these studentship are open to Home/EU students in the fields of Anthropology (Social, Medical and Development), Business & Management, Education, Human Geography, Government & International Affairs, Social Policy and Social Work. Additionally, both Home/EU and International students can apply for awards in Finance & Economics.

AHRC Studentships
These awards, which are funded via the University's AHRC Block Grant Partnership, are open for Home/EU students in the fields of Archaeology and Law.
