Welcome to the International Network for Music Theology. The aims of this network are:
- To create an international organization with the capacity to attract large-scale funding from private and public funding bodies in the UK, Europe, America and elsewhere internationally
- To provide an international centre unifying musicological and theological work carried out within academic universities, institutions, and other public and relevant private organizations
- To create a locus for research in Music and Theology, with special reference to the creation of a new international and interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal, The Journal of Music Theology
- To produce a Handbook for Music Theology (prospectively by Cambridge University Press)
- To present conferences, seminars and lecture series in support of international and national interests in Music and Theology
- To identify and develop new methodological frameworks for Music Theology
- To initiate and facilitate research which will sustain and expand the growing field of Music Theology
