This two-day workshop is a joint initiative of the NERC Earth Observation Technology Cluster Programme and the RSPSoc UAV Special Interest Group.

The aims are to:

• coordinate and focus interest in platform developments
• discuss scientific a pplications of UAV-derived data
• stimulate sensor development
• discuss safety and regulatory issues for UAVs

Activities designed to facilitate knowledge exchange will include workshops, demonstrations and seminars.

High resolution hyperspectral and thermal remote sensing from UAV platforms for stress detection and vegetation monitoring.
