Spirit of the Trees - Exhibition by Ewan Anderson

Ewan Anderson is an Emeritus Professor of Durham University. He retired in 2001 and since then has been able to spend more time drawing trees. He draws exclusively from nature. Last year he attended the Glasgow School of Art.

In 2011 Ewan had several exhibitions including one in the new Art Gallery of the Royal Horticultural Society at Wisley and two in the United States. Last year he was commissioned to draw twelve of the heritage trees at Kew. These have been accepted into the art collection of the Royal Botanic Gardens. He has a forthcoming exhibition at the River and Rowing Museum, Henley-on-Thames, from 6 February until the end of May, 2012.
