Welcome back to Lumiere

We’re excited to welcome back the Lumiere light festival this week, and see the city transform into an immersive, nocturnal art gallery. Amongst the 37 installations are three which we’re sponsoring, lighting up some of our newest, and most historic buildings.

Leading research to help decarbonise heat

Globally, heating our homes and businesses accounts for nearly half of all energy consumption and in the UK 77% of our heating is produced using fossil fuels. Decarbonising heat is essential if targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions are to be met.
