Walking Hockey

Durham University Hockey Club are running five weeks of walking hockey. Suitable for adults of any activity level, the sessions will be at a slower pace and aimed at beginners. If you're new to the sport, just haven't played since school or even with an injury or disability that might prevent you playing sport come along and give it a try!

Through emphasizing proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvic alignment, and concentration on smooth, flowing movement, you become acutely in tune with your body. In Pilates the quality of movement is valued over quantity of repetitions. Proper breathing is essential, and helps you execute movements with maximum power and efficiency.
