Staff fitness class - Pilates

12:00pm to 1:00pm, Maiden castle

Experience Durham runs a number of fitness activities for staff to attend on a weekly basis. Sessions are £3.00 and must be booked via email to reserve a place.

Pilates a 60 minute class aimed at strengthening the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and well-being.

Barre concept - a creative workout, that tones the arms, lifts the butt, sculpts the legs and flattens the abs

Junior Development Sculling Camp

8:30am to 4:30pm, The Graham Sports Centre (Maiden Castle, DH1 3SE)

Following on from the success of our Learn to Row Camps, we now offer a 5 day camp for Juniors aged 11-16 with some experience of the sport. The focus of the week will be on improving confidence and technique on the water in all boat types; progressing to a single scull regatta at the end of the week.

Learn to Row Summer Camp

9:30am to 4:30pm, The Graham Sports Centre (Maiden Castle, DH1 3SE)

Our Learn to Row camp is for participants aged 11-16 who have never rowed before. Based on the River Wear and using our state of the art indoor rowing tank and ergo gallery, this camp is ideal for anyone with an interest in rowing who is looking for an opportunity to finally get out on the water!
